Praveen Shankaran possesses extensive experience in operational and risk management roles within the financial services sector. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer at KFin Technologies Ltd. since April 2018, Praveen has also led the Internal Audit Department and focused on service transformation and process excellence. Prior to this, Praveen held leadership positions at Karvy Fintech and Karvy ComputerShare Pvt Ltd, overseeing central processing and audit operations. Earlier experience includes managerial roles in internal audit at Shinhan Bank and IndusInd Bank, showcasing a robust background in audit and surveillance. Praveen is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a certified Scrum Master.
