Carina Metzner is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in geriatrics, currently serving as Temachef at Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset since November 2021 and as Ordförande for the SPESAK Geriatrik within Region Stockholm-Gotland since January 2023. Previously, Carina held various leadership roles at Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset, including Verksamhetschef for different medical units focused on aging and elderly patients. Carina has been involved with the Svensk Geriatrisk förening since February 2016 as Ordförande, contributing to the advancement of geriatrics in Sweden. With a medical degree from Karolinska Institutet obtained in 2003, Carina has a solid background in geriatric medicine, demonstrated through roles at multiple institutions and professional organizations.
