Jeff Critchfield, MD, FSIR has a diverse work experience in the field of interventional oncology. Jeff began their career in 2006 as an IR Fellow at the Department of Radiology at Northwestern University. In 2007, they joined Karmanos Cancer Institute as an Interventional Oncologist and later became the Director of Vascular Interventional Oncology. During their time at Karmanos Cancer Institute, they also served on the Multidisciplinary Gastrointestinal Oncology Team and the Medical Staff Operations Committee at Harper Hospital. In 2007, Dr. Critchfield also became the Chief of Interventional Oncology at Detroit Medical Center, a position they held until 2018. Currently, they are an Associate Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine, starting in 2020. Overall, Dr. Critchfield has a strong background and expertise in interventional oncology.
Jeff Critchfield, MD, FSIR completed a Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine from 1997 to 2000. In 2008, they obtained an ABR Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology from The American Board of Radiology.
