Dawn Toering is a seasoned Program Manager at Karis Disability Services, where since July 2016, management of a professional team providing support and treatment for adults with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders has been a key responsibility. Prior to this, Dawn served as a Project Coordinator in Yangon, Myanmar, overseeing project cycle management and humanitarian response from August 2013 to July 2016, and held the role of Direct Support Professional at Karis Disability Services from 2008 to 2013, delivering holistic care for individuals with disabilities or mental health diagnoses. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate degree in International Development, Project Design and Management from Humber School of Business, a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Waterloo, and a BRE in Arts and Biblical Studies from Emmanuel Bible College, reflecting a strong foundation in advocacy and support for various communities.
