Steffi Hentzelt is a seasoned Publication Manager with extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently employed at Karger Publishers since January 2019. Prior to this role, Steffi served as a Publication Manager at S. Karger GmbH from October 2000 to December 2018 and gained initial experience as a Volontärin at Bild der Wissenschaft in 1999. Steffi holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Basel, obtained between 1996 and 1999, and a Diplom in Biology with a focus on Zoology, Biochemistry, and Genetics from The University of Freiburg, where studies occurred from 1986 to 1994, complemented by a tenure at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1992-1993.
