Gráinne McNamara is a seasoned professional in research integrity and publication ethics, currently serving as the Research Integrity / Publication Ethics Manager at Karger Publishers since January 2021. In this role, Gráinne established and leads a dedicated team focused on developing policies related to research integrity across various products. Prior to this, Gráinne was the Research Integrity Manager at Frontiers, overseeing a team ensuring ethical standards in submissions and investigating post-publication issues, and also served as a Research Integrity Specialist. Gráinne's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Integrative Neuroscience from Cardiff University and a BSc in Neuroscience from University College Dublin, complemented by training in counseling and programming. Gráinne's research experience encompasses key studies in maternal neurobiology and epigenetic alterations.
