Steve Kadish is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience across various sectors, including finance, education, and healthcare. Currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP since August 2023, Kadish previously held the position of Principal Information Security Architect at Newsela, where the creation of Cyber Security and SecOps programs marked their impact as the first dedicated information security hire. Prior roles include Information Technology Security Officer at Dexia, where Cadish bridged the COO and CISO teams, and Information Security Manager at Signature Bank, transforming its security methodology. Their career also includes significant contributions as an Information Security Engineer at Bank Leumi USA and as a HIPAA Security Officer at Village Care of New York.
