Srikar Vedala is currently an Associate Scientist III at Kanvas Biosciences, having joined in August 2023. Prior to this role, Srikar worked at Federation Bio from April 2020 to June 2023, holding positions as Senior Research Associate and Research Associate II. Srikar gained experience as a Research Associate at Dovetail Genomics, LLC from January 2018 to March 2020 and served as a Laboratory Operator at Emerald Cloud Lab from September 2016 to December 2017. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston, completed in 2016, and a High School Diploma from The John Cooper School, earned in 2011. Srikar also participated in a pre-doctoral fellowship at The Center for Genome Architecture between May 2015 and September 2016, focusing on the 3D architecture of whole genomes, and completed a summer internship at the University of Michigan in 2010.
