Ruben Scholte serves as the Coördinator integriteitsbeoordelingen at Kansspelautoriteit since April 2019, leading the Team Integriteitsbeoordeling in conducting investigations based on the Wet Bibob and the Wet op de kansspelen to assess reliability and conduct. Previously, from 2007 to 2019, Ruben held positions at the Ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid, initially as a researcher at the Landelijk Bureau Bibob and then as a senior staff member, focusing on integrity investigations under the same legislation. Ruben's academic background includes a Master's in Politicologie from the University of Amsterdam, a Master's in Strafrecht with a focus on criminology and conflict studies from Utrecht University, and an exchange degree in criminology from the University of Cape Town, alongside a vocational diploma in private investigations obtained in 2018. Experiential work at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam involved criminological and administrative research for Amsterdam's municipality and police.
