Travanna Alexander-Toney, LCSW, LSCSW, is the Founder and President of Core Changing Concepts (C³), a non-profit organization established in December 2019 to address the unique needs of urban multi-cultural communities. Currently serving as the Director of Behavioral Health and Trauma Sensitive School Clinician at Kansas City Public Schools since August 2018, Travanna has held multiple leadership positions in social work, including roles at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Tulane University, and Cornerstones of Care. With a solid educational background including a Master of Social Work and ongoing doctoral studies at the University of Southern California, Travanna's expertise spans clinical social work, community-based programs, and higher education.
