James Morrill is an experienced educational administrator currently serving as the Director of Facilities and Construction for Kansas City Public Schools since November 2022. Prior to this role, James retired from Raytown School District, where a career starting in 2000 included responsibilities as Director of Facility Operations, overseeing operations for 28 buildings, managing capital improvement projects, and coordinating vendor access. Previously, James held positions as an Assistant Principal at Raytown South High School and as a teacher at Ulysses High School. Educational achievements include an Ed. S. in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University, a Master of Arts in Secondary School Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Teacher Education from Oklahoma State University.
