Mark Spencer serves as the Arts Program Manager at the Kansas City Aviation Department since September 2022, having previously held the title of Arts Program Coordinator. As a consultant at Spencer River Group since April 2020, Mark brings extensive experience from a long tenure at Hallmark Cards, where Mark was the Director of the Hallmark Art Collection and Hallmark Archives Manager for nearly two decades. Mark has also contributed to the arts community as the Associate Director for ArtsKC - Regional Arts Council and as the Director of the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art. Early career roles include curatorial and program management positions at Yellow Corporation and the Haggerty Museum of Art. Mark holds a Master's degree in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in History and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
