Melissa Coleman is an accomplished Embedded Systems Engineer at Kano Computing since September 2019, with extensive experience in software development and digital artistry. As a Freelance Digital Artist and founder of Studio Melissa Coleman LTD since July 2009, work has been featured in prominent publications such as New Scientist, Wired, and Vogue. Previous roles include software development for Simba Sleep and Made by Many, where Melissa specialized in IoT hardware prototyping and web development. As a Freelance Curator, exhibitions such as Pretty Smart Textiles and Hybrid Skins showcased the intersection of fashion with advanced technology. Additionally, Melissa has contributed as a lecturer at various institutions, including the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, focusing on electronic textiles and DIY electronics.
