Justin Safdie currently serves as the VP of Engineering at Kandji since May 2023. Previously, Justin held the position of Sr. Director of Engineering at Amazon Music from April 2020 to May 2023, managing the Royalties organization to ensure accurate financial reporting and payments for music partners. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Engineering at Avast (November 2016 - January 2020) and Vice President of Software Operations at AVG Technologies (September 2014 - October 2016). Justin also held the role of Director of Software Operations at Location Labs (June 2010 - September 2014) and Senior Software Engineer at WAVEMARKET, INC. (March 2003 - June 2010). Earlier in the career, Justin was a Software Engineer at Exeter (2000 - 2003) and an IT developer at BBN (May 1996 - January 2000). Justin holds a BS in Math/CS and a BA in Economics from Brown University, where graduation occurred in 2000, and graduated with a high school diploma from Chelmsford High School in 1995.
