Thomas Begemann has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Thomas began their career as an intern at Duerkopp Adler AG in 2008, followed by internships at Bertelsmann AG and Commerzbank AG in 2009 and 2010, respectively. In 2012, Thomas worked as an intern at Bertelsmann. Thomas then joined Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) / University of Karlsruhe (TH) as an Academic Assistant from October 2013 to September 2014.

Thomas joined Bain & Company in 2014 as a Summer Associate before becoming an Associate Consultant from June 2015 to May 2016. Thomas subsequently served as a Senior Associate Consultant from June 2016 to March 2017. After a brief educational leave from June 2018 to August 2019, Thomas returned to Bain & Company as a Consultant from April 2017 to May 2018. Thomas then progressed to the role of Senior Manager from August 2019 to July 2020, where they were a core member of the Private Equity Group (PEG) with extensive experience in performance improvement and tech focus. Thomas also played a core role in MBA recruiting and training new hires. Their most recent position at Bain & Company was as the Director of the Kanbrick Business System, starting in May 2022.

Thomas Begemann has a diverse education history. In 2018, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, General. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, they studied at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) (with Distinction) in Business Engineering. In 2013, they briefly attended Harvard University, focusing on Management and Accounting. In 2012 and 2013, Begemann pursued a Master's degree at UC San Diego, specializing in Economics and Finance. Their educational journey began in 2008 at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Engineering in 2011.
