Awam Prakoso is the Founder and General Chairman of Kampung Dongeng, Indonesia's largest storytelling community, established in May 1999. This organization is dedicated to fostering children's character development through storytelling as a medium, expanding its reach across various regions to serve as a hub for children's imagination. In addition, Awam Prakoso serves as a storyteller and child observer within the community. Since May 2013, Awam Prakoso has also been involved with Pos Advokasi & Kepedulian Anak - PAKTA, coordinating assistance for children.
