Magalie Mazelier

Study Manager at Kamax Innovative System

Magalie Mazelier has extensive experience in research and development, with a focus on virology, immunology, and inflammation pathways. Magalie started their career as a Laboratory Technician at Laval University in 2007. Magalie then worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique, where they gained experience in recombinant protein production and characterization.

In 2010, Magalie Mazelier worked as a Research Assistant in Virology at Sanofi Pasteur in Boston. Magalie then joined INSERM as a Research Assistant in Oncology in 2011, where they implemented the RT-PCR method for the detection of NADPH-oxydase genome in an in vitro model. Magalie also managed Bachelor and Master students and gained experience in cellular culture, molecular biology, biochemistry, and immunochemistry techniques.

Magalie Mazelier further expanded their expertise at Centre Pasteur du Cameroun (CPC) as a Research Engineer in Virology in 2012. Magalie then pursued their Ph.D. in biology at Heidelberg University Biochemistry Center from 2014 to 2017. Magalie'sdoctoral research focused on comparing the molecular and cellular characteristics of a tick-borne virus produced either from tick cells or mammalian cells. Magalie also managed international and national collaborative projects, conducted scientific communication through articles, PhD theses, posters, talks, and reports, and supervised students.

In 2019, Magalie Mazelier joined Cisbio as a Research and Development Engineer on a 6-month contract. During this time, they were responsible for scientific monitoring on immunological and inflammation pathways, project management, and the supervision of a technician. Magalie also collaborated with companies to test their product on hIPSCs for cytokine release.

Magalie Mazelier continued their research career at INSERM as a Researcher from 2020 to 2021, focusing on their specific field of expertise. Magalie is currently working at Kamax Innovative System as a Study Manager, starting in 2022.

Magalie Mazelier completed a D.U.T in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at La Rochelle Université from 2005 to 2007. Magalie then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology - Biology at Polytech Marseille from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from KEDGE Business School, spanning from 2007 to 2011. Finally, Magalie earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biology from Heidelberg University between 2014 to 2017.
