Paul Smaglik is a seasoned writer and editor with extensive experience in science communication. Currently serving as a Writer at Kalmbach Media since March 2024, Paul specializes in crafting news stories for a national general-interest science publication while employing SEO strategies to enhance online visibility. Prior roles include Editor at CompareNetworks, Inc., where Paul led the successful relaunch of a magazine for pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals and developed a new editorial website. Paul has also contributed to academia as an ad hoc professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, teaching newspaper editing.
