Jean-Christophe Fillion-Robin is a distinguished engineer at Kitware Inc. since November 2008, with a focus on developing commercial applications based on the "3D Slicer" medical imaging platform, a cross-platform open-source software that has seen over 230K downloads. Previous experience includes roles as a web designer, software engineer, and research assistant at EPFL, Cyberbotics Ltd., Scynexis, Inc., and Geneva City Hall, where a wide range of projects in robotics, drug research, and information systems were undertaken. Fillion-Robin holds two master’s degrees in Communication Systems and Electronics, Telecommunication, and Computer Science from EPFL and CPE Lyon, respectively, and has a DUT in Computer Science from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
