David M. DePauw is a Research and Development Engineer at Kitware Inc., focusing on the development and implementation of computer vision techniques for both customer and open-source applications since July 2021. Previously, David served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania and gained experience as a Student Researcher in the Adaptive Design Algorithms, Models, and Systems (ADAMS) Lab at the University at Buffalo, where algorithms for task allocation and robot control were developed for the E-Puck 2 robot platform. Additionally, David worked as a Student Researcher at the Sound and Vibrations Lab, analyzing acoustic metamaterial and phononic crystal designs, contributing to various journal and conference publications. David holds a Master of Science degree in Robotics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
