Jackie Finlay has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Starting in 1987, Jackie worked as a Public Relations Executive at Tesco for two years before moving on to Hill+Knowlton Strategies as a Senior Public Relations Executive. From 1990 to 1992, they served as the Corporate Public Relations Manager at BHS. In 1992, Jackie briefly worked as a TEFL teacher at the London School of Modern Languages.
Following that, Jackie held various roles at different companies, including serving as a Subeditor at Prague Post from January to May 1993 and as a Reporter/Chief Reporter at various companies from August 1993 to August 1996.
In 1997, Jackie joined BBC News as an Assistant Editor, where they worked on the BBC News website and the Entertainment news desk. They also worked as a Senior Broadcast Journalist at the UK news desk and as a Broadcast Journalist at Ceefax. This role lasted until August 2006.
From September 2006 to March 2009, Jackie worked as the Editor in Chief at Future. Following this, they held the position of Digital Marketing Manager/Project Manager at the National Trust from April 2009 to November 2020.
Most recently, in December 2020, Jackie joined Kallidus as the Head of Off-the-Shelf Learning.
Jackie Finlay attended the University of Exeter from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature.
