Simantika Choudhury is an experienced AI Researcher and Computer Vision Engineer at Kaliber Labs Inc. since February 2022, with a background as an Intern. Simantika has also served as a Research Scholar at Gauhati University since August 2018 and as a Teaching Assistant at both Royal Global University and Gauhati University Institute of Science & Technology from 2017 to 2017 and 2016 to 2017, respectively. Prior teaching experience includes a role as Faculty at OLatus Systems Pvt. Ltd. from July 2014 to June 2016 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Royal School of Engineering and Technology from August 2014 to August 2015. Simantika's early career includes summer training at IBM Kolkata in 2013 and Doordarshan News in 2012. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Vision using Machine Learning from Gauhati University (2018 - Present), an MTech in Signal Processing and Communication (2015 - 2017), and a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (2010 - 2014) from the Royal School of Engineering and Technology.
