Mathew Francis, PhD, is a Senior AI Researcher and Data Scientist at Kaliber Labs Inc. since June 2019, where contributions focus on advancing minimally invasive surgery through AI-powered surgical software solutions that enhance accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in surgical procedures. Prior to this role, Mathew served as a Project Engineer at Wipro Ltd. in India from August 2009 to August 2010. Mathew holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, completed in September 2023, a Master of Technology in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela (2012-2014), and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (2004-2008).
