Michael Clase has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Michael started their career at Torus Systems Ltd as a Software Engineer, where they worked on Tapestry II Software for networking DOS and OS/2 PCs, focusing on network management services.
Michael then worked at Abend Solutions Inc as a Software Developer, where they developed software from November 1995 to May 1997.
Following that, they joined Andyne Computing Ltd as a Software Developer from May 1997 to January 1998.
Michael then worked at Hummingbird Ltd as a Software Developer from January 1998 to December 1999, and later became a Senior Systems Architect from January 2000 to November 2005.
In 2007, they worked as a Senior Developer (Contract) at Quest on the Communities Team, specializing in J2EE/JSP/Webwork/Oracle web-application development, working remotely on a contract basis from June to December.
Since 2008, Michael has been employed at Kaleidescape as a Senior Software Engineer. Michael has worked on various projects such as the maintenance and development of systems for uploading diagnostic logs, managing downloads of movie content to customer systems, and internally facing web applications for managing movie and licensing metadata. Michael is currently the lead developer for the Kaleidescape Movie Store web application.
Michael Clase began their education in 1984 at the University of Cambridge, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Michael completed their undergraduate studies in 1987 and earned their Master of Arts degree from the same institution. Following this, they attended the University of Cambridge once again in 1987 and 1988, where they obtained a Master of Mathematics degree. Finally, from 1990 to 1993, Michael pursued further education at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mathematics.
