Michael Mineo has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Michael began their career in 2007 as an Emergency Physician at FDR medical services/ AccelCare, where they worked until 2016. In 2016, they joined UBMD Emergency Medicine as an Emergency Physician and continues to hold this position. In 2018, they also took on the role of Patient Quality and Safety Medical Officer at Kaleida Health, a position they held until 2021. During their time at Kaleida Health, they held various leadership positions, including Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Vice President, and Chief Medical Officer of Buffalo General Medical Center, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Degraff, and Executive Vice President and CMO of Kaleida Health, a role they currently hold.
Michael Mineo completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology, from Canisius University in 2000. Michael then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University at Buffalo between 2000 and 2004. In 2019, they completed their Master of Medical Management degree at Carnegie Mellon University.
