Thijs van den Berg is a GIS Specialist at Kalani since August 2015, where responsibilities include developing new data and designing maps with various layers. Prior to this role, Thijs gained experience as a GIS Intern at the Big Island Invasive Species Committee in 2014. Thijs holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Hawai‘i System, completed between 2011 and 2014, and also attended Breda University of Applied Sciences.
