Amy Lee Sheppard is an accomplished Assistant Prosecuting Attorney with extensive experience in criminal law. Currently serving at Kalamazoo County Government since January 2019, Sheppard previously held similar positions at Ingham County and Washtenaw County, where responsibilities included managing felony criminal cases and participating in specialty courts. Educational qualifications include a J.D. and an MA in Legal History from the University of Virginia, as well as a B.A. in History with a minor in Spanish from the University of Michigan. Early career experiences range from litigation support at Dickinson Wright PLLC to various internships that contributed to legal research and courtroom procedures.
