Wraegen Williams has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Currently, Wraegen holds the positions of Director at Careers in Health & Medicine, Executive Director at Heyl Scholarship Fund, and K-Promise Liaison at Kalamazoo College since September 2020. Prior to this, Wraegen worked as an Academic Advisor at Kellogg Community College from August 2015 to August 2020. Before that, Wraegen served as the Director of Undergraduate Advising & Research at Virginia Commonwealth University from May 2013 to August 2015. Wraegen also has research experience, working as a Research Scientist and Research Associate at the Center for Diversity in Engineering at the University of Virginia from March 2009 to April 2013. Additionally, Wraegen was a Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellow at The National Academies in September 2008. Before entering the education field, Wraegen gained industry experience as a Summer Intern at Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2000 and 2001.
Wraegen Williams earned a Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Learning Analytics from Northeastern University, starting in 2017 and completing in 2019. Prior to that, Williams obtained a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University, spanning from 2001 to 2007. Williams began their higher education journey at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 1998, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, finishing in 2001.
