Chanteag Kwon is an experienced technology leader with a career spanning over two decades in database engineering and big data management. Currently serving as the Bigdata Platform Team Leader and Director at Kakao Corp since December 2012, Chanteag has held roles including Hadoop Engineering Part Manager and HBase Cell Manager, with responsibilities in cluster management and team leadership. Previously, Chanteag worked at NHN Japan from August 2007 to June 2012 as a Senior Database Engineer, overseeing significant projects like disaster recovery between Japan and Korea and the development of complex database systems. Earlier experience at PDS involved Java programming, data modeling, and database administration across various platforms. Chanteag has also contributed to seminars focused on Oracle and SQL Server optimization for database administrators and developers.
