Ariel Erlijman has worked in various roles in the software engineering industry since 1999. From 1999 to 2009, they worked at Interactive Networks Inc. as a Team Leader, Developer Manager, and Software Engineer. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at Tata Consultancy Services as a Team Lead, Developer, and Certified ScrumMaster. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Independent Software Consultant and Scrum Coach Trainer and Certified ScrumMaster for www.ArielErlijman.com. During this time, they also worked as a Professor at Universidad Católica del Uruguay. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at TellMi as a CTO, Tech Lead, Architect, Senior Developer, and Agile Coach. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Xentric as a CTO, Tech Lead, Architect, Agile Coach, and Senior Developer. In 2016, they began working at Kaizen Softworks as a Tech Lead, Agile Coach, and Software Engineer.

Ariel Erlijman received a Software Engineer degree in Computer Science from Universidad Católica del Uruguay 'Dámaso Antonio Larranaga’ in 2001. Ariel also attended North Carolina State University in 1998 and graduated with a degree in Computer Science. In 2013, Erlijman obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Ariel also obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in 2010, as well as a Certified Scrum Master certification.
