Neil McFadden has a diverse work experience in several organizations and roles. Neil is currently working as a Senior Sensor Scientist at Kairos Aerospace since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Zurich from March 2020 to May 2021. Neil also served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at The University of New Mexico from January 2016 to February 2020, where they also worked as an Astronomy College Lecturer from August 2017 to May 2018 and as a Teaching Assistant from August 2013 to July 2016. Neil gained experience as a PhD Researcher at Los Alamos National Labs in the Department of Energy, Office of Science Graduate Research from June 2018 to December 2018. Additionally, Neil worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Indica Labs in 2016 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz from March 2012 to June 2013.
Neil McFadden completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2009 to 2013. Neil later pursued a Master of Science degree in Elementary Particle Physics at The University of New Mexico, which they completed between the years 2013 and 2015. Neil continued their education at The University of New Mexico, where they successfully earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Elementary Particle Physics from 2015 to 2020.
