John McIntyre has an extensive work experience spanning over 30 years. John started their career in 1990 as a Sales Engineer for Dow Chemical, where they provided technical sales and support in the oil & gas industry and doubled sales for their territory. In 1994, they became a Manager at PRTM. In 1997, they joined Interliant, Inc. as the Director of Product Management, where they helped the company grow from start up to IPO in less than 18 months. In 1999, they co-founded Affinity Internet, which became one of the industry's largest web hosting and Internet marketing providers. John raised $60m in capital and grew the company to 250 employees, 100,000 customers and $35m in revenue in 3 years before selling it to Hostway. In 2006, they founded PixelFish and created an award-winning Internet video production platform. John built a global network of 2,000+ crowdsourced videographers to capture content and developed proprietary applications to create affordable high-quality video marketing content. John sold the company to a private investor group in 2012. In 2013, they founded Sightly, a revolutionary Brand Mentality\u2122 platform that combines speed with values, and became a Board Member of Shout About Us Reputation Management Software. In 2018, they co-founded Kachinga, a platform that brings financial literacy to the next generation. In 2021, they co-founded Caltana, an industry-first pricing & sourcing platform that is revolutionizing the massive commercial real estate (CRE) services industry.
John McIntyre received their MBA from Harvard Business School between 1992 and 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University between 1985 and 1990.
