Weiying Zhao started their work experience in 2005 as a Senior Software Engineer at Wistron. Weiying worked in this role until 2010. In 2010, they joined IBM as a Localization Project Manager and worked in this role until 2013. From 2013 onwards, Weiying Zhao has been working at Kabam as a QA Lead.

Weiying Zhao completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Science at Wuhan University from 1999 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at The University of Manchester from 2003 to 2004.
