Reneé Lasswell has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in the technology and gaming industry. Reneé started their career in 1999 as a Project Manager at Stratics and later worked as a Help Desk at CEI from 2000 to 2001. Reneé then joined NCsoft in 2002 as the Billing and Account Support Lead and stayed with the company until 2008. In 2009, Reneé joined Night Owl Games as an Associate Producer and eventually became a Producer. Reneé also worked as a Production Intern at Heatwave Interactive before joining D7 Studios, Inc. as a Project Manager/Producer in 2010. In 2013, they returned to Night Owl Games as a Producer. From 2014 to 2015, Reneé worked as a Development Director at Maximum Play, Inc., where they managed the day-to-day development of a SAAS Technical Project and facilitated the transition from Waterfall to Agile methodology. In 2014, they also worked as a Producer at Technicolor. From 2016 to 2017, Reneé worked as a Project Manager at Blackbeard Data Services, LLC via ERS. Reneé then joined Kabam in 2017, initially as a Project Manager and later as a Sr. Manager - Delivery Services.
Reneé Lasswell pursued their education at Northern Illinois University from 1995 to 1996, where they focused on Art History and English without obtaining a degree. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1995, they attended Illinois Central College and earned an AAS degree in Liberal Arts. Additionally, Reneé has acquired several certifications, including Certified Agile Leadership I from Scrum Alliance in June 2020, Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) from Duolingo in February 2016, A+ Certified from CompTIA in 2001, Advanced Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in June 2018, CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) from Scrum Alliance in January 2017, and Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in December 2017.
