Shu Hui Teo began their work experience as a Practice Trainee at Allen & Gledhill LLP in January 2020. After completing their traineeship, they became an Associate at the same company in August 2020. Shu Hui held this position until March 2023. In March 2023, they joined K3 Ventures as a Legal Counsel, where they currently work.

Shu Hui Teo completed their primary and secondary education at Raffles Girls' School from 2009 to 2012. In 2013 and 2014, they attended Raffles Institution, although it is not specified what degree or field of study they pursued during that time. From 2015 to 2019, Shu Hui Teo studied at the National University of Singapore, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, specializing in Law.
