Maximilian Bargiel serves as an Associate Managing Director at K2 Integrity since June 2024. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Managing Strategy Consultant at Promontory, a Business Unit of IBM, where Maximilian provided advisory services to banks, financial institutions, and fintechs, and successfully led teams on complex projects in the financial crime compliance sector. Maximilian's background also includes significant contributions to MUFG’s Americas AML Program Office as Vice President, as well as managing large-scale AML Risk projects at Scotiabank. Earlier career positions featured senior roles at HSBC and Promontory Financial Group, focusing on financial crime compliance programs and correspondent banking reviews. Maximilian holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and International Relations from Boston University.
