Michael T. Simmons is an accomplished Program Manager with extensive experience in Cybersecurity and IT operations, currently leading projects for K2 Group, Inc. since December 2020. With a proven track record in managing complex programs, Simmons previously led a $31M project for SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. focused on enhancing services for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Additional program management roles include oversight of the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board’s IT Support program and significant contributions at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. With over two decades of experience in various analytical and training positions, including service as a Counterintelligence Special Agent in the US Army, Simmons holds multiple certifications, such as PMP, ITIL, CSM, and Six Sigma Green Belt, alongside a strong educational foundation in project management and leadership.
