Scott Torgerson has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as an Academic Manager at the University of Phoenix in 2005. Scott then worked as a Senior Director of Admissions at Everest College Phoenix from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they joined Zenith Education Group as the Associate Vice President of Admissions from 2014 to 2017 and later became an Adjunct Faculty from 2016 to 2018. Scott then joined Brave Health as an Operations Management Consultant from 2020 to 2021. Moving forward, they worked at Ancora Education as the Vice President of Online Education from 2018 to 2023. Currently, Scott is the Vice President of Operations at K16 Solutions, starting from 2023.

Scott Torgerson began their education in 2001 at the University of Idaho, where they focused on Recreation Management in the field of Education. Scott completed their degree in this field in 2003. Later on, in 2005, Torgerson attended the University of Phoenix to pursue a Master of Management in Human Resources. Scott completed this program in 2006, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.
