Zubair Khan Sherwani has extensive experience in the electrical engineering sector, currently serving as Section Head (Deputy General Manager Electrical) at K-Electric since December 2019, focusing on a 248MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. Prior experience includes an Electrical Engineer role at Dubai Electric and Water Authority from December 2014 to December 2019, contributing to a significant 5000MW capacity project. Earlier positions at K-Electric, including Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager Electrical, involved oversight of a 600MW power complex, emphasizing health, safety, and quality management standards. Zubair began their career at Tapal Energy (Pvt.) Limited as an Electrical Engineer involved in a 126MW power plant. Zubair holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, completed in 2007.
