Wania Rafi began their work experience in 2011 as an intern at the Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research. In 2013, they joined K-Electric and worked as a Trainee Engineer in MV Distribution Operations. Wania then progressed to the role of Assistant Manager in MV Network Analysis from April 2014 to December 2015. From January 2016 to September 2019, Wania served as the Deputy Manager for Network Planning & Engineering in MV/LV Distribution. After that, they worked as a Technology Analyst in Renewable & Alternate Energy and Finance from September 2019 to July 2021. Wania'smost recent role at K-Electric is Lead Business Analyst (Strategy), which they have been in since July 2021.

Wania Rafi completed their education as follows:

- From 2016 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).

- From 2008 to 2012, they attended NED University of Engineering and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical engineering.

- From 2006 to 2008, they completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate in Pre-Engineering at Commecs Institute of Business & Emerging Sciences.

- From 2003 to 2006, they studied at the Beaconhouse School System, where they completed their O ' Level with a focus on Science.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Wania Rafi obtained several certifications including:

- Train the Trainer Programme on Net-Metering Capacity Building for DISCOs (Distribution Companies) Staff from 8.2 Ingenieurpartnerschaft Obst & Ziehmann in 2018.

- Short Circuit Management in T&D systems from DNV KEMA in 2017.

- CYMDIST training for Distribution Analysis from Eaton Cyme International T&D in 2014.

- Registered Engineer from Pakistan Engineering Council in 2013.
