Luis Saenz has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2014 as a Research Assistant at CITT/Metrans. In 2015, they worked as a QA Analyst at SQA Resources before transitioning to ArborPro, Inc as a GIS Analyst/Programmer. Starting in 2018, Luis joined Ushr, Inc. as a Software Engineer - GIS. Luis then moved on to Crisis Track in 2021, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer until 2023. Currently, Luis is employed at Juvare as a Senior Software Engineer.

Luis Saenz obtained a Master's Degree in MS Geographic Information Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Geography/GIS from the same institution in 2014. In addition to their degrees, Luis also obtained a GIS Certificate and completed studies in Urban Studies from California State University, Long Beach in May 2014.
