Jeffrey Stephenson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2007, they worked as an Office Automation Technician in the US Navy for two summers. In 2010, they interned at the New York City Department of Investigation. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Pretrial Officer at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. In 2012, they joined the United States Capitol Police, where they served as a Command Center Operations Specialist until 2019. During their time there, they managed various emergency communication systems, conducted system audits, and developed training videos. In 2019, they became a Senior Consultant at Guidehouse, specializing in crisis information management systems and providing training programs. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Juvare as a Business Analyst.

From 2009 to 2011, Jeffrey attended John Jay College (CUNY) and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, they attended West Virginia University where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Criminology and Investigations. In 2007, Jeffrey participated in a study abroad program at The American University of Rome.

Additionally, Jeffrey has obtained several certifications. In February 2022, they completed the WebEOC Advanced Board Building program at Juvare. In October 2021, they completed the WebEOC Process Flow program, also at Juvare. In June 2021, Jeffrey obtained certifications in Agile Requirements Foundations and Business Analysis Foundations from LinkedIn. Jeffrey also completed certifications in Requirements Elicitation and Analysis as well as Requirements Elicitation for Business Analysts: Interviews, both from LinkedIn in June 2021. Furthermore, Jeffrey completed the Professional Development Series program at FEMA in December 2018.
