Elphas Khajira has worked as an Android Developer since 2015. Elphas started at Shimba Technologies in 2015 as an Android Developer. In 2016, they worked as a Lead Software Developer at Sycom Africa Limited, where they led the design and development of Sypay and iPera. Elphas also worked as a Mobile Application Developer Consultant at CarePay Limited and an Android Developer Consultant at Annona in 2017. In 2019, they were an Android Developer Consultant at Maisha Meds, and in 2020, a Software Developer Consultant at World Agroforestry. Since 2021, they have been a Snr Android Engineer at JustPark. Additionally, since 2017, they have been an Assistant Lecturer at Strathmore University, where they mentor and lectures students in Android Programming, Theory of Automata, Computation Models, Object Oriented Programming, and Assembly Language Programming.

Elphas Khajira completed a Master of Science (MS) in Mobile Telecommunication and Innovation at Strathmore University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology from 2010 to 2013.
