Thomas Alexander has a diverse work history with experience in engineering, management, and music. Thomas is currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at JustAnswer, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, they were the VP of Platform Engineering at Kinesso from April 2020 to April 2021. Thomas has also worked at International Data Group (IDG) as the VP of Engineering from November 2014 to July 2019, and as the Senior Director of Engineering from February 2012 to October 2014. In addition to their engineering roles, Thomas has a passion for music and has held various positions at the San Francisco Civic Music Association, including Board Member, Founder and Music Director of Civic Strings and Mozart to Mendelssohn, and Concertmaster and Guest Conductor of the Civic Symphony. Thomas has also worked as the Director of QA and Releases at IdentityMind, Inc. from February 2011 to January 2012, and as a Senior Manager of Engineering Services and QA Manager at McAfee from November 2008 to February 2011. Earlier in their career, Thomas worked at Securify as a QA Manager from July 2003 to November 2008, and as a Software Engineer from June 2000 to June 2003.

Thomas Alexander 🇺🇸🇺🇦 pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Music at UC San Diego from 1990 to 1996. Thomas then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco, completing their studies from 1997 to 2000.
