Jianyu Guan is a skilled AI Engineer at JAAI | JUST ADD AI GmbH since September 2018, concurrently serving as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Uni Bremen since November 2017. Jianyu has developed a robot research system utilizing Unreal Engine for virtual reality simulations and has created an object detection deep network for robotic perception in virtual environments. Prior to these roles, Jianyu worked as a Research Assistant at the University Bremen's Institute of Automation, developing a perception system for a self-driving train using stereo cameras and lidar to merge 3D information with colorful images. Jianyu holds a Master's degree in Control, Microsystem, and Microelectronics from the University of Bremen, obtained in 2018.
