Robert Garcia has extensive experience in both educational governance and quality assurance engineering. Since 2014, Robert has served as a Governing Board Member for the Jurupa Unified School District, re-elected for a four-year term in November 2022, overseeing a school district with over 19,000 students and a significant operating budget. Prior to this role, Robert held various positions within the tech industry, including Quality Assurance Manager at Hochiki America Corporation, Senior Manager of Quality Engineering at both Avago Technologies and Emulex, and Engineering Associate at WD. Robert's career began in the U.S. Navy as an Avionics Technician, emphasizing skills in maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic systems. Robert holds a Certificate of Management for Technical Professionals from the University of California, Irvine, and an Applied Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ITT Technical Institute-San Diego.
