Carrie Helland is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Jurata Thin Film, Carrie has held previous leadership roles including COO at Lilac Therapeutics and Entrepreneur In Residence at ARCH Venture Partners. Notable accomplishments include advancing critical programs at multiple biotech firms, contributing to the successful launch and operation of Orbital Therapeutics, and advising on early development efforts at HI-Bio. Additionally, Carrie played a key role in the growth of Vir Biotechnology, helping scale operations from under 20 employees to over 500, and has significant experience in drug development and corporate strategy from positions at CytRx Corporation, Iris Diagnostics, and Amgen. Carrie holds an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and has degrees from The University of Kansas and the University of Southern California.
