Jared Oyler is a Senior Geospatial Scientist at Jupiter Intelligence since January 2022, bringing extensive experience in climate and weather data science. Previously, Jared held multiple roles at BASF, culminating as the Climate and Weather Team Lead for Digital Farming, where development of hyperlocal climate datasets and cloud-based systems for big data weather products occurred. Prior to BASF, Jared was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Penn State University and University of Montana, focusing on climate risk management and wildland fire management, respectively, while also improving high-resolution climate data products. Jared's early career includes research assistant positions at Penn State University and Vanguard as a software engineer, contributing to advanced software solutions. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Ecological Climatology from the University of Montana, a Master's degree in Geography from Penn State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Drexel University.
