Vicky Prater has been working in the medical field since 2009. Vicky began their career as a Resident Physician at the New York University Department of Internal Medicine. In 2012, they moved to the NYU Faculty Group Practices - Internal Medicine Associates, where they served as a Faculty Physician and Clinical Instructor. In 2020, they took on two new roles, Attending Physician at Gouverneur Health and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as the Associate Medical Director at Juno Medical.

Vicky Prater obtained a MD from New York Medicine Jobs between 2004 and 2009, and a BA in Political Social Thought and Anthropology from the University of Virginia between 2000 and 2004. Additionally, they are Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Lifestyle Medicine by the AMERICAN BOARD OF LIFESTYLE MEDICINE.
