Bob Friday is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and networking. Currently serving as Group VP and Chief AI Officer at Juniper Networks since February 2022, Bob focuses on enhancing client-to-cloud experiences through AIOps. Prior to this role, Bob was VP and CTO at Mist, where efforts centered on integrating AI into Juniper's networking portfolio. As CTO and co-founder of Mist Systems, Bob developed a cloud-based machine learning platform aimed at improving enterprise mobile experiences. Bob's career includes significant tenures at Cisco Systems, where leadership roles involved shaping the Enterprise Mobility Strategy and driving innovations in Wi-Fi performance. Earlier, Bob co-founded Airespace, focusing on radio and mobility architecture, and held the Chief Scientist position at Metricom, overseeing the performance of wireless systems. Bob Friday holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University.
